Description

:rose: Attention! Dear visitors, I rely on your sincerity and honesty (which, I hope, are still alive, at least a little bit)! PLEASE, DON'T reupload, repost and share this picture anywhere without my permission and giving credit. I've already had pretty enough of numerous art stealing, especially of my DM pictures. Please, don't be a thief and vandal, otherwise - if you ALL ARE that disgraceful without exceptions - I'll promise to make Depeche Mode related stuff NEVER MORE in my life. Thank you for understanding! :rose:

My latest dream came true - finally, I make an ultimate crossover of my favourite synth/electro bands, which really have a lot in common! Applause!

Well, the picture title is self-descriptive XD. We take a bit of Depeche Mode, then we take a bit of Kraftwerk, then put it together and - ta daaa! - we get DepecheWerk. "DepecheWerk" is the name for Kraftwerk turning into Depeche Mode. Note: if there was "Kraft Mode", then there should've been Depeche Mode transformed to Kraftwerk. I'll probably think this over, but now - it's DepecheWerk! :D *applause again*

Long time dedicated fan and admirer of both would definitely notice all the hints I've cheerfully scattered around on the picture. Road cones, Lautsprecher (oh, beg your pardon for my German! I meant loudspeakers XD), words and labels, costumes and, of course, a rose. If Depeche Mode originally had appeared in Düsseldorf, they would've looked this way XD.

I think the only point here left is to explain why I turned exact members of Kraftwerk into exact members of DM... But probably, this is not necessary! :) It doesn't matter much, but if you're interested to understand the way my imagination worked, read the following story; and if you're not interested - then skip a paragraph below :P.
Well, Florian Schneider is obviously, Dave Gahan of "101"/MFTM period. Obviously, because he has a big nose like Dave he's remarkable. And looks good in leather jacket and white jeans ;).
Ralf Hütter is Martin Gore. It's easy: because he's the main lyricist, I can say... A poet, etwas. Plus it was interesting to see Herr Hütter wearing bondage bought in closest sex shop and with sledgehammer. Of course, this image was inspired with some old photos of "Construction Time Again" era and "Stripped" video. Note: originally I was about to draw Ralf wearing hat and black dress, but soon denied this idea XD. Bondage is more exciting, indeed. Cough.
Wolfgang Flür is Alan Wilder. Isn't it logical, too? Many people find Herr Flür to be the most attractive member of Kraftwerk. Right as Alan Wilder for many of DM fans is the most handsome guy in the band. Logical! :D This outfit was inspired with old photos, too (here DM fans understood me very well, I suppose ;)), and with "Master and Servant" video. Wolfgang Wilder... Sounds good enough.
And finally, Karl Bartos is Andy Fletcher. Easy, too: the most intelligent-looking and peaceful members of the bands (I think). Haven't you ever noticed how nice Andy actually is? Herr Bartos is the man of same "nice-ness", too, just take a closer look!

I also want only to remind that I didn't mean to copy DM outfits and hairdos completely at all: I wanted to combine them all carefully to save possibility of easy recognition, you know. And finally, don't you think that's enough for Herr Bartos just to become a red-haired lad?.. He looks good this way, I think XD.

Oh, and the transformed quote goes from very well-known song called "Everything Counts" by DM, as you found it out.

Further Kraftwerk/DM discussions are allowed in comments below. Personally I got nothing more to say! Hope you like this one! :) (it took me so freakin' much time, tears and blood, I must admit...)
